Table of Condiments That Periodically Go Bad

A list of condiments that periodically go bad. This serves for general reference I suppose. :ok:

No way, I've had most of those in my fridge for well past those terms with no ill effects.

Yes I know. I posted this to give everyone the minimum amount of time which it can last without actively trying to preserve them.

I knew there was SOME reason to keep coming back to GIM, even though I feel seriously PO'ed with it at the present.

That is a riot!

Except my taco Sauce, at least not my opened taco sauce, is not holding up! I will show it the chart.

Funny, and interesting, but by no means accurate.

Honey, for example, never goes bad.

You can keep salt forever by packing it in salt.

Aspartame goes bad at temperatures exceeding 86F... exceedingly bad, in fact. Please don't consume it, your body temperature is well above that.

Nor does #54 Olive Oil.

Sugar "only" 2 years??? E-x-c-u-u-s-e... ME!

Sugar has an indefinite shelf life!

Someone's already mentioned honey, and someone else salt.

Pepper = 4 years? Ground pepper maybe... maybe even less. But whole peppers... a LOT longer.

Checking out the "periodic" table, it's cute: and pretty much useless.

It's another one of these "internet-urban" myths.

Probably good for people who really don't want to go to the trouble of finding reliable sources of information.

hmm well I could use ms paint to edit it to put in correct lengths of time. It might be more useful then

Not if you listen to Wallew (who does?) - IT IS RANCID! OH GOD NO, DON'T TOUCH IT!
Bottle here going on 7 years, I think I would know if it was rancid. Not a big user of Olive Oil, hence the lifespan...
